Hey! My name is Alex, born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland.  I knew I wanted to be in health care from a young age.  Growing up with older siblings whom studied biology and worked in health care, I became fascinated with the human body. I grew up close to my great-grandmother who lived to 102 years old; being around her inspired me to live a long, healthy life filled with everlasting memories and just plain fun. So I was a very active kid and an avid sports fan. Playing sports such as football, basketball, and track gave me a few injuries that led me to seeing a physical therapist. There is where I found my calling and haven’t turned back since.

In undergrad I studied Physical Education and Nutritional Sciences.  My undergrad coursework helped me realize that to be successful I must strive to be a great educator and incorporate the whole person with my treatments. Following undergrad, I completed my Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at the University of Maryland at the Eastern Shore (UMES) as well as receiving my Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) certification.

My goal for all my clients is to improve their quality of life; whether that is getting them back on the dance floor, training for their sport, or just managing their lives better. As your physical therapist, I strive to be a listener first, educator second, and clinician third.

When I am not working you can probably find me hanging with my family and close friends or scrolling through my social media pages. I LOVE pizza, traveling, dancing, and watching sports. To stay active, I lift weights and when I can play basketball, football, or softball. I still feel new to the city and love exploring what DC has to offer!
